Definition of crisis
Crisis: The highest point of the complication in the action, when forces and counter forces have met and the direction which the action must now take is determined (cf. turning-point). In strict terminology, crisis refers only to structural and plot elements, whereas climax refers to the highest point of reader/audience interest.
