Rate (Special: Event): A temporary increase in rack rate based upon a specific event such as a concert, sporting event, or holiday:: Also sometimes known as "super" or "premium" rack.: Examples include rates for rooms during Mardi: Gras (New Orleans hoteliers) and on New Year's: Eve (Manhattan and other hoteliers).
