Definition of falsifiability
FALSIFIABILITY: Popper argued that science can never prove things to be true, but it can prove them to be false: Therefore, all truly scientific hypotheses are generalizations which the scientist believes to be true but formulated in a way that is open to empirical testing and thus falsification: For example, the hypothesis that “All dogs go to heaven” is not falsifiable since it is not possible to prove wrong
