Definition of distribuição física

 

Distribuição Física - segmento da logística empresarial relativo ao conjunto das operações associadas ao fluxo físico de materiais desde o local de sua produção até o local de consumo/utilização final e do fluxo de informações relacionado. Também chamado de outbound logistics, ou logística externa, tem o objetivo de garantir que os materiais cheguem ao destino em condições de consumo/utilização, no tempo certo e com custos competitivos. De forma simplificada, é o processo de fazer com que os produtos/serviços de uma organização cheguem ao cliente/usuário final de forma eficaz e lucrativa.
