Definition of peg factor
PEG Factor: The factor used to indicate the relative attraction, and consequent value enhancing potential, from investing in a growth company. It indicates the relationship between the price earnings ratio (PER) and the earnings per share growth rate. A PER of 15, with an earnings growth rate for the company of 30%, gives a PEG factor of 0.5 (15/30).
