Definition of brokers

 

Brokers: A short-hand term, used to describe either a stockbroker or an independent financial adviser. A stockbroker buys and sells shares on your behalf. An independent financial adviser usually advises you on a range of different savings and investment products. He is supposed to be independent because he is not tied to one particular investment company.
