Definition of larmor frequency (vl)
Larmor frequency (vL) - The precession frequency of a magnetic dipole in an applied magnetic field. In particular, a nucleus in a magnetic field of strength B has a Larmor frequency of yB/2tt, where y is the magnetogyric ratio of the nucleus.
