Definition of drucker

 

Peter Drucker is a management theorist who is credited with introducing the idea of management by objectives (MBO). This groups the role of management into five different operations including the setting of objectives for the organisation, the organisation of the work, the motivation of employees, the measurement of the job being done and the development of people. Good managers will perform all these functions well according to Drucker.
